One of the Great Truth

Today many people are seeking to find freedom from addictions and strength over human weaknesses in support groups of all kinds. However, growth does not automatically come to a person simply by physical present in a group. If you a person becomes a “leaner” on a support group, he or she may well have only traded one addiction for another. It is important to realize that the answer to your needs is always basically within yourself...growth can only come from within. The need is to know yourself at the point where the Universe is expressing as you, is supporting you and ceaselessly longing to manifest fulfillment for you in all your ways. Through the practice of “inner prayer” or meditation you can move beyond your apparent limitation or weakness, to that point within where you are under the constant care of Infinite Love. With all the elements that are spiritual being, in a very real essence, you are your own support group....a support group of one. By Eric Butterworth

They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they can not learn, feel, change, grow, love, live.
