Acts of Blessings
The act of blessing is the finest
example of the practice of the presence of God. To bless is to see good
(God) in a person or situation, to turn from appearances and let the
Cosmic energy of Love flow forth. It is as if you had a magic wand that
would bring everything you touched in tune with the wholeness of the
Universe. When you start your day, bless it, bless your family, bless your
work, bless your employer or employees. During the day bless any conflicts
between people by seeing them surrounded by a unifying aura of love. And
when you encounter people who behave in a negative way toward you, bless
them by seeing them as spiritual beings living in the flow of Divine Love.
There may be times when you are hurt, and the last thing you want to do is
bless the person who has “gotten under your skin.” This is precisely
the time you need to get into the blessing consciousness. It is the high
road to freedom from hurt feelings, resentment, and bitterness. It is also
important to bless yourself, see your eyes, your ears, your lungs, your
heart, your nerves, your mind, your immune system, and your entire body
being bathed in the ever-renewing flow of Infinite Life. Form the habit of
blessing, it will change your life.

Is Your Colon in
Distress?
Perhaps more than any other
organ in your body, the colon (a flexible pipe surrounded by muscle and
lined with absorbent tissues) is your best friend when it comes to
elimination of toxins and impurities. Keeping the colon healthy is
absolutely essential. If bowel movements are not regular, toxins can
easily :back up" from your colon to your liver and shortly
thereafter, your bloodstream. When this occurs, your entire body
becomes toxic at its most fundamental level -- the cells.
Furthermore, the colon
itself can become a "storage tank" for pollutants. This
happens when fecal matter and toxic build-up become impacted in the
colon. When this occurs, beneficial vitamins and nutrients have a
much more difficult time getting absorbed into your bloodstream.
Even when they are, they are accompanied by a dangerous
"escort" of toxins.
Picture for a moment the
type of food you've eaten, the quality of the air and cigarette some you've
breathed and the water you've drunk over the past 10, 20, even 30
years. Now image the cumulative effect the impurities in your food,
air and water have had on your body.
Are you sluggish or
irritable" Is your skin wrinkled? Do you have trouble
losing weight? Are you sick more frequently than you used to
be? Do you experience general aches and pains? Do you feel bloated
or gassy? If so it's time to PURIFY YOURSELF. |

Visualization and
Guided Imagery in Mediation
McLeod says
visualization is one meditation tool. “There are two categories of
meditation: One is developing ability in attention and the other is seeing
how things are and letting things move,” he says. Visualization and
guided imagery are the second type, and are powerful in effecting change.“
Guided imagery allows people to see things about themselves and is very
effective,” he says. But used alone, guided imagery is less effective
than using it with other meditation techniques. A person may get confused
during visualization about the images and feelings that come up. This
doesn’t happen, however, if the person has been trained to hold the
attention.
